Golden_us4In previous article you read what a wonderful plant Callissia fragrans is, what medicinal properties it has and how to grow it. Now look at remedies you can prepare from Callissia fragrans directly at home.

So your plant began to grow striking new leaves from the stem. 3-4 months later your plant can reach about 2 feet high. Remember about support that you placed in the pot after transplantation? Use it to tie up the stem of your plant. Callissia fragrans begins to grow more and more active, leaves become bigger and sappier. After a while you will notice buds on the stem. From buds will grow horizontal offshoots. Just these offshoots you will use to prepare different remedies.

The plant is considered ripe when there are 10 joints of beautiful violet tint.

As you already read Callissia fragrans is a very powerful adjuvant and tincture from it is a remedy that helps you to resist illness especially in autumn-winter period.

Alcohol tincture from Callissia fragrans is using for organism cleaning, for treatment of osteochondrosis, injuries, postoperative adhesions, respiratory system diseases including asthma.

How to prepare.

For tincture you use side offshoots and if there is a lack of them even the whole plant itself. Cut very small 30-50 of joints, put them in glass vessel and pour 1 liter (a bit more than 2 pints) of 40% alcohol (it may be simply vodka). Keep the tincture in warm dark place for 7-15 days shaking it up every day. When tincture become of violet color filter it and keep in dark glass vessel in cool place. That’s all. Your Callissia fragans tincture is ready!

In next article I will tell you how to prepare decoction from Callissia fragans leaves.
