Cats
His name is Felix. I presented him to my elder daughter when he was a little kitten. Since that time he followed my daughter through all places where she lived. Now I think he believe that this constant moving came to the end. I must say that he considered “home changes” calmly even philosophic. I rarely see him but we are friends. From other hand he meets me with a bit of suspicion cause during all changes it is I who take him to a new home. So from first words I try to reassure him that everything is OK and we are not changing the place. Another remarkable thing about him is that he is brother of our beloved cat Maxim. Cause of this I highly recommended Felix to my daughter and was right. Felix is also very intelligent cat as Maxim was.
It’s a pity but there is no digital photo of Maxim but he looked much like Felix. Oh those red cats! Once we had a horrible case. I don’t know why but one night our empty microwave oven began to work. We all slept. I and my wife were wakened by Maxim and only than heard this strange hum of working oven. When we cut down power the plastic of oven began to melt. The amazing thing that he forced his way directly to our room not to children’s understanding that only adult people are needed in the situation. He saved our home from fire and us probably from death.
Maxim lived with us 13 years and died from internal disease. Last year he had a company of nice black cat Asya. This kitten was doomed to be lost when children bring her to us. I wasn’t sure that it is a good idea to have two cats. But I was wrong. Asya smoothed over Maxim’s last year. First he only hissed on her. But after some time I was surprised to see how they played together. In summer they even hunted together. I may say Asya loved and respected Maxim and when he disappeared from home she looked for him a long time.
