My dear readers, in this article I would like to tell you about nice dish that will suit for all occasions – “Chicken a la Naturel”. And it is remarkable cause can be cooked by everybody even by those who have almost no cookery skills. Time to prepare is about 50 min. If you struggle with overweight following low carb diet this dish is exactly for you.

To prepare “Chicken a la Naturel” we need:

Chicken weighing 1300-1500gr (46-53oz)

4 cloves of garlic

Grinded gross salt 700-900gr (25-32oz)

Any vegetables for garnish

Greens to decorate the dish

Take a chicken and remove excess of moisture with a napkin.

Lay down chicken on make-up tray and cut it along the back with special scissors. You can do it also with a sharp knife.

Unfold chicken. Make 4 perforations in it with a sharp knife and insert there cloves of garlic.

Garlic must be covered with a chicken’s skin. It is needed to prevent garlic from burning.

Take oven baking tray. Pour out 700-900gr (25-32oz) of grinded gross salt on it. Form salt as a circle with a thickness of 1-1,5cm (0.4-0.6’’). Diameter of the circle must be of size enough to place the chicken on it.

Put baking tray in the oven and bake the chicken. Bake time depends of chicken’s weight. To bake chicken of 1300gr (46oz) takes 50 min, 1500gr (53oz) – 1hr. Temperature in the oven is 150-200C (302-392F). From time to time take a look at the chicken. Remember that wings bake sooner. To bake the whole chicken evenly you can cover almost baked wings with foil.

While the chicken is baking you can prepare a garnish. It may be vegetables, rice, spaghetti or whatever you want. But if you follow a diet the garnish must correspond to it.

After taking chicken from the oven let it stay 5-7 min. After that dish it and decorate with garnish and greens.

The taste of the chicken baked this way is amazing. Excess fat will be absorbed by salt and from the other hand the dish will be salted by salt it layed on.
